Preventative Maintenance
WarrantyThe EX is a heavy-duty ride on floor scrubber made for big open areas such as gymnasiums, field houses and warehouses. An operator can clean up to 255,000 square feet per charge making them very productive. A 46-gallon solution and 49-gallon recovery tank capacity reduce the number of drain and fills and increases efficiency. With deck sizes from 29” – 37”, both disk and cylindrical, operators can clean larger areas in less time and with a cylindrical deck, it reduces the need to pre-sweep saving even more time.
When using a battery floor scrubber in such large spaces, it must be durable and dependable. The Tomcat EX ride-on floor scrubber is both. Made in the USA with a welded steel chassis 3/16” thick, the EX will last for years. The machine includes a flip up steel rear bumper, poly rollers and optional protective side doors made of steel with additional poly rollers to better protect the scrub deck. A stainless-steel squeegee with Linatex blades dries the floor completely behind the operator and has a break away feature should it hit something. The wastewater is drawn up from the squeegee, into a drain saver basket to catch large debris, protect the recovery tank, sinks, and floor drains from clogs. The vacuum motor is protected with our patented vac box system, that will arrest and divert water before it can enter the vacuum motor.
Service and maintenance on the EX are simplified with the patented service cabinet, yellow highlighted touch, and maintenance points. The tip back tanks allow the operator and service personnel to access additional maintenance and service areas while standing. The forward seating position and front wheel drive-steer permits greater maneuverability and line of sight for the scrubber operator.

A disk scrub deck is the most versatile for your floor scrubber. With a gimbaled mount that allows a scrub brush to conform to uneven floors, it offers exceptional performance. For flat, smooth, finished floors, a pad holder and disposable floor scrubber pads can be used. For textured and uneven floors, you can choose from a wide variety of scrub brush fibers and grits, tailored to your surface and soil combination.

Popular Options
Green Antimicrobial Tanks
Special plastic formula inhibits growth of bacteria and other harmful contaminants inside tanks. The vac motor on all scrubbers suck air through the recovery tank and therefore will dispense odors or contaminants back into the air everyone inhales inside the building
Dual Side Brooms and Guards
Extends the cleaning path up to walls and racking pallets. Moving small debris to center of path reduces squeegee streaking and hose clogs
Overhead Guard / Black Tires
The overhead guard option will protect the operator from falling objects. The black tires are ideal in situations where the ground may be harsher than in normal situations. The overhead guard provides the safety required when working in warehouses or distribution centers.
Scrub and Vac Wand / Spray Jet
Equipped on the brush side for floor scrubbing and squeegee side for water pickup. Easily clean under tables and in restrooms. Capable of pre-soaking the floor before scrubbing and the ability to easily rinse out the recovery tank
Heavy Duty Side Doors
Thick Steel with leading rollers offers protection of critical scrub deck, reducing equipment damage and down time for repairs
Lights
The traditional white floodlights enhance visibility for the operator and oncoming hazards, while a blue spotlight alerts pedestrians and oncoming vehicles in crowded and noisy environments. The lighting option includes a flashing yellow beacon, improving machine visibility from multiple angles and boosting overall safety for both the machine and its surroundings.

Tip Back Tank
Our designers and engineers have 25+ years of experience and recognize cleaning equipment will eventually require service. The tank tips back without the need for any tools. Providing you with access to the all the important serviceable items.
The ease of access allows for technicians to easily troubleshoot problems with less disassembling to get to a single part.
Steel Frame
The steel frame offers a through-bolt assembly with stainless fasteners for easier service and longevity. All assemblies mount directly to 7-ga (3/16” thick) steel frame.
Accidental damage to bumpers, decks, wheels, or over tensioning the frame during transport will not damage our tanks since we don’t bolt collision points to the poly tank.
Stainless Squeegee
The exposed portions to recovery water is stainless. Featuring locking locking latches for the front and rear areas. Available with a range of blades for various floors and applications.

Baffle System
The dirty water passes into our drain saver basket, and then fills up the rear side of the baffle such that the foam doesn’t migrate to the front where the stainless screen and float ball operates
The stainless screen and white vacuum filter offer protection and ensure good airflow (squeegee performance)
Patented Vac Box System
This invention earned a US Patent. The Yellow Vac Box is vacuumized and safely stores up to 1-gallon of foam or dirty water away from the vac motor’s intake
Dirty water drains out of the Yellow Vac Box via Unloader Valve as soon as vacuum is turned OFF.
The Blue Muffler Box reduces the noise and directs moisture out to the bowls, alerting the operator of a problem.
Patented Service Cabinet
The patented service cabinet comes equipped with a solution filter, unloader valve, vac blow-by, suds valve, zero3, and a battery box valve. Each component assists in properly draining excess electrolyte safely while also collecting vac moisture to alert the operator and more.
